JIB is a brand collaboration between traditional Korean clothing brand IISE and graphic designer CHUNG CHOON, in exploration of the definition of home. JIB believes home can be defined by three intimate spaces: the ENTRANCE, the MEAL, and the RESTING PLACE. All collection items correspond to one of these areas, and are made using locally-sourced materials from Korean artisans. JIB hopes that with these items, you can bring a touch of Korean tradition into your living space, old or new, and make it feel more like home.

In order to promote this collaboration, an exhibit titled Intimate Spaces of the Home will be held within a traditional Korean home  (known as a hanok) where all collaboration items will be on display. The home is naturally small in size and invites guests to experience a private, intimate experience viewing the collection items within the context of their use.

Interactive Website: Type ArchitectureWith 360 degree technology, users can virtually “walk” through a hanok constructed out of typography. Content consists of poetry and prose in both Korean and English relating to the concept of home. The thin nature of the walls and glowing, ghostly typography creates a digital space that exists everywhere and nowhere at once, for eternity.
